Toro is hitting the road this autumn in an unprecedented move to show greenkeepers and other turf professionals its latest new products – right on their own doorsteps.
It’s all part of an exciting new Toro on Tour series of roadshows – organised by Lely UK, and involving around 20 of its local dealers – at which the company will also be unveiling its brand new Reelmaster 5010 range of fairway mowers.
The roadshows, taking place from early September to late October, will cover the length of Britain from Moray in north Scotland to Devon in the south-west, and all parts in between. Golf clubs, plus the City of Manchester Stadium, will provide the venues.
Toro is using the occasions to unveil a range of three new Reelmaster 5010 fairway mowers. While still keeping Toro’s traditional, rugged build quality, all weigh 150 to 200lb (68 to 90kg) less than previous models for a lighter footprint that minimises soil compaction and reduces turf stress and damage. Toro says the high-capacity machines also excel in productivity, durability and long-term value.
Greenkeepers and others will find plenty else to interest them at the half-day events. This includes the chance to view or test drive a number of recent product introductions such as the superb Greensmaster Flex 18 greensmower and Sand Pro 5040 and 3040 new generation bunker rakes. These will be joined by a selection of other popular models from the established Toro range.
Attendance is by invitation only, via local Toro dealers, and those participating will be treated to a presentation about the products, before being able to get their hands on the machines for themselves. An added bonus, linked to the ‘test-drivers’ theme of the roadshows, will be a chance to win the driving experience of a lifetime – a fantastic day out for two driving the British Grand Prix circuit at Silverstone.
