Two more well-known golf industry names have joined the growing launch team at PowerPlay Golf.
Jacqui Baldwin brings a wealth of experience having been based at the Federation of Sports & Play Associations for twelve years, where she managed the British Golf Industry Association, the European Golf Industry Association, the Golf Consultants Association and the British Rootzone & Top Dressing Manufacturers Association.
Following a belated ‘gap year’ away from the industry, Jacqui is looking forward to catching up with former colleagues and friends in the game, in her new role as Executive Assistant at PowerPlay Golf.
In a 12-year industry career Stuart Armstrong led the development of successful initiatives such as Tri Golf and Golf X-treme at The Golf Foundation, before becoming Development Manager for Coaching and Talent Pathways with the England Golf Partnership in 2005. His most recent position at the EGP was Performance Development Manager, enhancing regional coaching programmes at the EGU and EWGA.
Stuart takes the role of International Development Manager at PowerPlay Golf, where he will be responsible for the expansion of the two-flag format at clubs worldwide.
They join PowerPlay Golf directors David Piggins, Andy Hiseman and Peter McEvoy OBE at the company’s new UK offices in Henley-in-Arden.
Hiseman said: “Stuart and Jacqui are both perfect for PPG, being so well-connected within the industry. We needed fast starters, and were delighted when they agreed to join us.
“Anyone who knows them will not be surprised to hear that their energy and experience have quickly become invaluable to the growing team at PowerPlay Golf.”
PowerPlay Golf will reveal details of its global launch – including revolutionary news about televised golf – at a press conference shortly.
