Co-hosted by leading sports broadcaster Andrew Cotter and professional golfer Eddie Pepperell, with regular special guest and BBC Golf Correspondent Iain Carter, The Chipping Forecast started in mid-2023 aiming to provide insightful, intelligent and humorous thoughts on golf and the world beyond the fairways. It has since grown exponentially, topping podcast charts with listeners in over 100 countries.
The Peter Millar sponsorship, which began for The Chipping Forecast’s 112th episode, seeks to challenge established podcast sponsorship norms with more nuanced, ad-hoc references to the brand and its products rather than simply relying on scripted ad reads. Listeners can look forward to the same free-thinking, cerebral and insightful style from all three of the podcast’s regular cast list, with a natural reference to Peter Millar and the future opportunity to take part in special collaborations.
Two-time DP World Tour winner Pepperell, who is currently competing on the Hotelplanner Tour, has also become a Peter Millar staff ambassador as part of the sponsorship.
