London Golf Club invests in new Club Car fleet

10.26am 13th November 2024 - Management Topics

London Golf Club in Kent has purchased a brand new fleet 50 Club Car Tempo golf buggies from leading event vehicle supplier Bradshaw Electric Vehicles to enhance both guest and member experience.

The order comes at a time when both the London Club and Bradshaw Electric Vehicles celebrate a 25-year working partnership.

Supplying hundreds of golf clubs across the UK with Club Car vehicles, Bradshaw EV has built a reputation for being a trusted partner for many of the UK’s most revered courses. Earlier this year, the company was awarded the 5000 Club accolade for selling over 5,000 Club Car vehicles, becoming only the third dealership in Europe to reach this milestone.

Over the past 30 years, London Golf Club has become a central part of the European golfing landscape and has hosted a range of professional and amateur tournaments, including several major DP World Tour events such as the 2008 and 2009 European Open, and the 2014 World Matchplay. More recently it has hosted the Legends Tour’s PGA Seniors Championship in 2018 and 2019.

The club currently has over 1,300 members, with membership continuing to grow.

This latest investment into its new Club Car Tempo fleet reflects its dedication to delivering a high-quality golfing experience for its members, ensuring they have the best on-course equipment available.

The new fleet features advanced lithium batteries, ensuring greater efficiency in buggy turnaround compared to our previous models. Each buggy is also equipped with state-of-the-art Visage V4 GPS units.

Ben Stimson, Director of Golf at London Golf Club, said: “We are always looking at ways to improve our overall experience, and that includes making sure we have the best available equipment for visitors, members and staff.  Our new fleet of Club Car Tempos from Bradshaw EV ensures that is the case. Our new buggies are already enhancing the efficiency of turnaround in our buggy park and are helping all navigate our courses seamlessly with the latest Visage V4 GPS units.”

Ramsy Labassi, Marketing Manager at Bradshaw Electric Vehicles, commented: “We were delighted to support London Golf Club in upgrading their fleet with the latest Club Car Tempo models. Club Car has become a renowned and constant name within the game for nearly 70 years, setting the industry benchmark by enhancing golf course operations as well as on-course experience for guests. The Tempo models, with their advanced features and reliability, perfectly meet the high standards of London Golf Club in supporting their commitment to providing an exceptional experience for members and guests alike.”
