Zen Green Stage opens doors in St Andrews this week

2.00pm 2nd October 2024 - Innovation Centre

Calling all St Andrews visitors this week! If you’re in town for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, make sure you visit the Zen Green Stage Experience ‘moving floor’ demonstration inside the St. Andrews Golf Company store – less than a minute’s walk from the 18th green on the Old Course, at 8 Golf Place.

The Zen demo runs from 9am to 6pm on Weds 2nd, Thurs 3rd and Fri 4th October.

There, you will find the Zen Green Stage – the world’s most advanced putting green. Come and try some of its seven billion different putts, or try and hole some of the most Famous Putts from Tour golf and Ryder cup history! Can you hole putts by Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros and Tiger Woods?

There are also putters and golf balls from through the ages for you to try, to celebrate this weekend’s World Hickory Open Championship.

And you can also take part in a high-tech demonstration of the latest Quintic ball-tracking technology, which brings the Zen’s adjustable slopes to life with some impressive overhead graphics.

The Zen Green Stage Experience demonstration is at 8 Golf Place, St Andrews KY16 9JA – it is a free demo, full of fun, and all are welcome. Simply head into the shop – the Zen demo is downstairs.

Or call Zen on 01226 781000 / email Josh.goulding@zen.golf to book a private demonstration for you and your friends!

Visiting on Saturday or Sunday? Simply call into the shop and ask to try the Zen Green Stage.

The Zen Green Stage Experience location, the St Andrews Golf Company, is home to the world’s oldest golf clubmaker, with roots going back to 1881. It is situated where Old Tom Morris’s pro shop used to be, and the Green Stage itself is located on the exact site of the final hole of the original golf course in St Andrews.
