Inrange engages fans at LET Access Tour event

Get Golfing, the UK’s largest golf non-profit organisation, hosted the inaugural Festival of Golf at Mill Green Club this past week, which included an Adidas Junior Open and culminated in a 54-hole Ladies European Tour Access event over the weekend.

The organisers wanted the event to be a ‘Golf Party’, similar to that of LIV Golf events – with music playing and engaging fan activities throughout the week. One of the key player engagements at the festival was the Inrange Island Challenge. Throughout the week, almost 5,000 shots were hit and tracked by Inrange radar technology, by players of all skill levels and profile.

The simple 3-shot challenge saw hundreds of players take on the 89-yard target for the right to be crowned champion and win a four-night golf holiday to Turkey sponsored by Par 5 Escapes.

“The brilliant thing about Inrange is how it auto-adjusts challenges to ensure a level playing field for all. We had kids as young as 8 taking on LET tour players in a fair game – and they were loving it!” said Gary Walsh, Head of Golf at Mill Green.

Get Golfing is looking to partner with Inrange as their range tech provider of choice throughout some of the golf venues they manage in the UK, and will no doubt include them on future activations and events such as the Festival of Golf.
