The New Product Zone is one of the most popular areas at the PGA Show, and each year yields a trio of winners of the Best New Product Award among participating companies.
A panel of PGA of America Professionals and top golf buyers vote to determine the winners based on criteria such as aesthetics, uniqueness, filling a consumer need and packaging/merchandising support.
The 2024 Best New Product winners are: AYRO (booth 2373), SKIM Turf Management (booth 2773) and Golf Shotz LLC (booth 4016).
AYRO
AYRO specialises in the design and manufacture of low-speed, lightweight electric utility vehicles and people movers for a wide range of service industries, including hotel and resorts, urban management, government departments and the food and beverage markets.
SKIM Turf Management
SKIM Turf Management has developed a unique software package which provides crucial insights and tangible savings for golf course owners and superintendents. AI models analyze images taken from satellites or drones to reveal insights before they are detectable by the human eye. Training and building SKIM’s AI backbone required more than 33,000 satellite images, 7,000 drone images, 5,000 visual assessments, 4,500 in-situ tests, and 24,000 laboratory results. By harnessing the power of AI and multi-spectral analytics, golf courses can now take more data driven decisions and achieve precision turgrass management.
Golf Shotz
Golf Shotz created the Wasted Wedge range of clubs, which are designed to look like golf clubs but feature disposable shot cup holders mounted on the shafts. Designed for parties, trips, and any social gathering, they are not intended to be used as actual clubs!
