Callaway support for both Munich and Marbella

8.00am 15th September 2003 - Exhibitions & Conferences

Callaway Golf, the world’s No.1 manufacturer of woods, irons and putters will display one of their most exciting ranges of new products at this year’s Golf Europe Show in Munich on 5th to 7th October. The lineup will include two products that are currently taking the professional tours by storm: a new technology driver and a HX technology golf ball.
Callaway Golf will also be in attendance at this year’s Première Golf event on Spain’s Costa del Sol to launch a number of key new products and is planning to hold some pre-launch activities at the Flamingos Golf Club. Flamingos Golf was built in 2001 and the Antonio Garcia Garrido designed course is already being acclaimed as one of the best courses on the coast.
“We are thrilled about the product lineup we are bringing to market in 2004,” stated Neil Howie, managing director, Callaway Golf Europe. “There has been some real excitement generated on Tour with the prototypes which we have recently put into play, and it’s been tough for us at times to cope with the demand from the professionals. If this is an indication of what will happen in the market once these products are launched, then we are really on to a couple of winners.”
Première Golf event director, Robert Fairbairn, commented, “We are absolutely delighted that Callaway Golf is returning to Marbella this November. I know we can assist Callaway Golf in producing a really successful product launch.
“We have a wide diversity of events at this year’s Première Golf. Our conference programme is designed to compliment the exhibition and attract an even greater number of high quality trade visitors. The involvement of Callaway Golf in Premiere Golf is a most welcome and exciting addition which undoubtedly enhances the event.”
