TGI Golf welcomes six brands from Wordwide Golf Brands as Partner Suppliers

2.45pm 3rd November 2021 - Corporate

Worldwide Golf Brands has agreed a deal for Farah Golf, MacGregor, Stuburt and ZOOM, to join Oscar Jacobson and BIG MAX as TGI Golf partner suppliers.

The agreement paves the way for all six of WWGB’s core brands for 2022 to be represented across TGI Golf’s network of over 500 retail outlets in UK & Ireland. The deal will significantly broaden the reach of the six brands and offer TGI Partners a huge range of retail categories and price points, all under one roof at WWGB’s brand new 125,000 sq ft distribution centre in Manchester.

Speaking upon agreement of the deal, Graeme Stevens, MD at WWGB, said: “This has been an incredible year for the business. We’ve moved to a purpose built office, showroom and distribution centre, we’ve secured the rights to take Oscar Jacobson into the America’s, we’ve signed deals for BIG MAX and ZOOM, and we’ve designed our first Farah Golf collection. The progress we’ve made this year has been fantastic and it really is satisfying when an organisation like TGI Golf recognises that hard work, and the care that we’re taking with our business and its brands.”

Highlights of WWGB’s plans for 2022 include the return of Farah to the golf market. Selling in now for launch in Spring 2022, Farah Golf will see a contemporary styled and well fitted collection with signature prints, textured patterns, and detailing.

Other new developments see MacGregor Golf introduce a new 3-wheel trolley and a new putter line to its range of premium affordable golf products, while Stuburt and Oscar Jacobson both broaden their appeal with the addition of contemporary styles, colours and designs to their ever popular ranges.

Adele McLean, TGI Golf Group Services Director, added: “The WWGB portfolio offers our partners access to a wide range of brands to suit their businesses as independent retailers. Working closely with WWGB we hope to offer our partners excellent margin making opportunities backed up by great service from their new distribution hub.”

Stevens concluded: “We were delighted when we secured partner supplier status for BIG MAX so soon after having taken on the brand. It’s something the brand had never achieved before so I took it as a real endorsement of the work we have put into the business as a whole. So to become a partner supplier for all six brands is a great achievement for the team. We have put together a portfolio of high quality products that serve different categories and different sectors of the market. I’m delighted that TGI have recognised what we’re trying to achieve, and I look forward to making 2022 a huge success for us, TGI and their partners.”
