The Club Managers’ Association of Europe, England Region (CMAE England), is preparing for the latest meeting in its packed 2021 schedule as Villa Park, Birmingham, plays host to a membership marketing strategy seminar.
The event, which takes place on Thursday, September 9, 2021, features a fascinating pair of speakers in Gabriel Aluisy and Leighton Walker who, with their years of industry expertise, will look to offer attendees an insight into how to improve the marketing of their own club memberships.
The day-long event aims to look forward into the future of club management, with a specific focus on learning how to better advertise to the next generation of club members with improved digital marketing and the latest strategies.
At £45 for members of CMAE England, participation in the seminar will award six educational points towards becoming a Certified Club Manager (CCM) – the highest standard of qualification in Europe. Tickets are also available for non-members for £90.
Tristan Hall CCM, managing director at Sunningdale Golf Club and chairman of CMAE England, said: “CMAE England takes great pride in imparting education to club managers all over the country through our seminars – and with all the disruption that COVID has caused over the last 18 months, we are even more excited to continue to host in-person seminars again.
“The event at Villa Park will specifically focus on the future of club management and how club managers can reach a new generation of potential members, an important focus as clubs continue to return to normal. In Leighton and Gabriel, we have two speakers who are experts in membership marketing and will offer considerable insight for the event’s attendees.”
