Glenmuir, the renowned Scottish golf clothing brand, has unveiled details of its Autumn/Winter apparel collection for 2021, with products crafted to perform combining sustainable luxurious natural fibres and technical fabrics with contemporary design. The three striking colour stories continue for AW21 with Spring Green, Magenta and Ascot Blue.
Exciting new additions to Glenmuir’s padded outerwear collection include padded Storm Bloc performance gilet Bute (RRP £80). Made with a performance water and wind resistant outer and heat insulating down which retains body warmth whilst bonded zones add a contemporary design element. The collar is also padded for added warmth and stretch binding around the armholes and hem retain comfort and freedom of movement, finished with coordinating lock down zips and printed branding. Callendar is a performance padded hybrid jacket (RRP £85) with a combination of stretch brushed back fleece sleeves and side panels and a warm padded front and back body panel. The cuffs and hem fit snuggly in stretch rib finish, this garment cleverly combines the ultimate warmth, comfort, ease of movement and sleek design without any added bulk. Both Callendar and Bute are available in three colour options.
For ladies’ we also have two new padded outerwear options, Ayla (RRP £80) is a wind resistant and water repellent gilet with thermal padded zones on the front and back. It has brushed fleece side and shoulder panels for comfort and freedom of movement whilst retaining heat. A little sparkle is added with high shine zips and a silver retro reflective logo, the center front zip is double ended for additional flexibility. With all the same properties, but instead with long sleeves is Samara (RRP £85), Glenmuir’s new padded jacket. For incredible warmth, comfort and style Alya and Samara will not disappoint and are available in Black, Navy and Mid Grey/Mid Grey Marl.
Ramsay (RRP £70) is a brand new men’s midlayer for AW21, it is a raglan sleeved zip neck midlayer combining a tonal marl and solid colour block design with a striking highlight sleeve stripe and zip detail. g.Ramsay is made from active functional fabric with moisture wicking yarn delivering thermoregulation, breathability, and enhanced freedom of movement. In the ladies’ midlayer collection a welcomed addition is Bree (RRP £65) with a full-length zipped front and a sporty colour block design. Made with a brushed fleece inner for warmth and a four-way stretch for comfort this raglan sleeved midlayer is both wind resistant and water repellent. It comes in three classic colour options, Navy/White, Light Grey Marl/Black and Hot Pink/Light Grey Marl.
For Glenmuir’s signature Touch of Cashmere zip neck sweaters, contemporary sporty design meets natural fibres to create unique knitwear pieces which are breathable, stretch, soft to touch and have an anti-pill finish. Girvan, Jedburgh, Olivia and Alissa offer the golfer a fresh and bold take on traditional knitwear whilst Bothwell and Nika reflect Glenmuir’s traditional heritage with subtle rib and cable detailing (all RRP £85). Each piece of knitwear is hand-knitted by craftsmen with stitches linked manually resulting in a long-lasting perfect fit and resilient flat seams.
To complement the ladies’ knitwear, new this season in our accessories collection is the Robyn (RRP £20) knitted headband, with a cable knit design and a twist at the front, Robyn is both functional and stylish with Navy, Light Grey Marl or Hot Pink to choose from.
Lined Storm Bloc performance knitwear has a new arrival for ladies’, Adalyn (RRP £80) is beautiful piece of knitwear enhanced by adding a soft touch stretch lining inside providing an extra wind resistant layer. The moisture wicking lining is breathable and delivers comfort when worn next to skin. This two colour, full zip raglan sleeve sweater is made from 100% premium combed cotton and sports ribbed side panels and an eye-catching sleeve and placket stripe.
In addition to all Glenmuir’s layers for the cold weather, AW21 sees the arrival of some exciting new performance polo shirt designs. Marcus has an all over print of swooping swallows with a smart contrast tailored collar, whilst Brody compliments Glenmuir’s camo collection with an all over jacquard design and an anti-curl ribbed collar and cuff, cleverly incorporating the signature 1891 logo (both RRP £45).
For ladies’ there are also two fresh new shirts, Daisy (RRP £50) has a chic ruffled shoulder and placket detail, with a beautiful set of sparkling rhinestone buttons and discrete gingham trims. Amelia (RRP £50) is a zipped placket shirt with lurex tipping and delicate all over animal print, available in the most exciting colour combinations and foil printed options of black/gold, navy/silver and white/candy with silver lurex tipping. Superior Performance polo shirts are made from active fabric which is highly functional with moisture wicking technology delivering breathability, +40 UV protection, thermoregulation and enhanced freedom of movement.
