Penfold relaunches golf ball range

4.34pm 20th October 2020 - New Products

Penfold Golf, an iconic British golf brand that was first established in 1927, has unveiled remodelled versions of the Penfold Heart and Penfold Dual iD golf balls.

First launched in the 1950s, and relaunched in 2010, the latest version of the Dual iD ball is a four-piece design with a soft resin cover and an inner mantle layer that claims to offer ‘superior distance off the tee, exceptional short iron spin, and drop-and-stop control around the greens’.

Priced at £30 for 12, each Penfold Dual iD ball features a club, diamond, spade or heart logo alongside a number.

Also getting a revamp is the three-piece Heart ball, made famous by Sean Connery’s James Bond who used one in his golf match against Goldfinger in the film of the same name.

The 2020 model features a 332 multi-sized dimple design with a thin and soft Ionomer resin cover which combine to offer high launch, improved spin rates, and maximum feel around the greens. A large rubber compound core provides resilient power, creating long distances off the tee. They are priced at £25 for 12.

Penfold’s product range also includes an apparel collection, featuring polos, cardigans and jumpers; and a small range of accessories, including a branded golf towel, casino chip ball markers and wooden tees.
