NIPPON SHAFT PLAYER WINS BMW PGA CHAMPIONSHIP
Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series of steel shafts won its 23rd tournament of the season on Sunday, when the 28-year-old Tyrrell Hatton posted a four-shot victory at the BMW PGA Championship using N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 120 X-flex shafts in his irons.
The 2018 European Ryder Cup team member shot a total of 19-under par with rounds of 66, 67, 69 and 67 at Wentworth Club in Surrey. It was his sixth worldwide victory and his first since he won the PGA Tour’s Arnold Palmer Invitational in March earlier this year. The win was worth €974,457 and moved him up to 10th in the world rankings.
