Mizuno has returned to the putter market for the first time in Europe since 2013 – and the first time ever in the US – with the launch of its premium M.CRAFT range.
Forged from 1025 mild carbon steel, and deep CNC milled to create precise shape, enhanced roll and soft feel, the M.CRAFT putters will be available from March in three head designs.
The M.CRAFT I is a square-back blade with mid-slant neck and maximum toe-hang, and is designed for those players with an exaggerated putting arc. The M.CRAFT II is a classic heel-toe blade with plumber’s neck and mid toe-hang and is best suited to those with a moderate arc to their stroke. The M.CRAFT III is a face-balanced mid-mallet offering stability for those with a mild putting arc.
Weighing 355g, each putter head features two 8g weight inserts that can be switched out with a kit that includes two 3g weights and two 13g weights, enabling the overall head weight to be adjusted to suit player preferences and a variety of putting conditions.
“Our goal with the M-Craft series was to create a putter line utilising all of our expertise in feel and precision,” said Chris Voshall, club design specialist for Mizuno. “By forging these out of 1025, Mizuno processes and materials used in our MP and JPX lines of irons, we knew we could create one of the softest feels in the industry in a one-piece milled putter design. By adding two interchangeable weights, M-Craft can also be custom fit to ensure that it not only feels great, but performs perfectly for every golfer.”
Each head is offered in White Satin, Blue ION or Black ION finishes. They are fitted with a Nippon Original shaft, and a Lamkin Deep Etched Full Blue cord grip, and Mizuno M.Craft branded putter head cover.
