One of Greater London’s best kept golf secrets has unveiled a new look and feel, introducing The City9. Named on its unmatched proximity to central London, the 9-hole golf course has been one of the countries real hidden gems since it opened in July 2015. The City9 is a 3037-yard full length 9-hole course that overlooks some of London’s hallmarks; Wembley Stadium, Harrow on the Hill and RAF Northolt private airport. Just 7 miles from Heathrow and less than 30 minutes by tube to Oxford Circus, it is hard to find a more centrally located golf course.
Part of The West London Golf Centre, one of the City’s most popular golf centres, including a 4,500 sq. ft American Golf superstore, Dinosaur Escape Adventure Golf and the Dino Soft Play area, The City9 is part of the Bridgedown Group’s portfolio. It’s sister course, The Shire London, designed by legend of the game, Seve Ballesteros will soon be joined by two highly anticipated venues being developed in the capital, West London Links (which sits adjacent to The City9) and The Dye London, masterminded by the Dye Design dynasty.
The re-brand has been accompanied by a new campaign; Make Time for 9 which is aimed at the time poor golfer, who is looking for every opportunity to get the clubs out. Golfers will be able to access the course from Monday to Friday from £12.50 and £14 at the weekends. In addition, the ownership group have introduced a face-lift for The West London Golf Centre to improve the experience and visibility of the facility within the local golf and general community.
