adidas Golf has extended its partnership with England Golf through to 2020, building on a commitment which began in 2015 to support the next generation of talent in all areas of the game, including elite-level and disability golf.
The England Golf teams will wear the latest apparel and footwear from the spring/summer 2019 range including the new Tour360 range of footwear and the technology within the ‘Ultimate’ apparel range.
For the first time, adidas Golf was the title sponsor of last night’s annual England Golf Awards. The awards recognised outstanding players, clubs, counties, golf coaches and volunteers.
England Golf has a strong track record of producing top-level athletes from the amateur ranks including adidas athletes Tyrrell Hatton, Matthew Jordan, Sophie Lamb and Jordan Smith.
Andrew Law, Managing Director of adidas Golf EMEA said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with the national teams and look forward to supporting their continued success. England Golf’s presence across amateur golf is significant and we are dedicated to supporting the governing body in bringing more talented youngsters to the game.”.
Nick Pink, Chief Executive of England Golf said: “I’m delighted that we are able to extend the agreement with adidas who will provide bespoke support to our squads and teams. adidas have always been at the cutting edge in sport and naturally we want to partner with companies and products of the highest quality – this is an excellent fit for England Golf. We are all looking forward to developing the relationship to help all involved.”
