Touchstone Golf announce that Mark Luthman has been named president of the company. Prior to being named to this position, Luthman was executive vice president and chief operating officer. Steve Harker will continue to serve as chief executive officer of Touchstone Golf.
“Mark has been the backbone overseeing Touchstone’s growth over the past several years,” said Harker. “In just 12 years, Touchstone has become the nation’s 10th largest non-captive, U.S.-based golf course management company and we owe a lot to Mark for that accomplishment.”
Luthman joined Touchstone in 2009 as its executive vice president and chief operating officer. Prior to joining Touchstone, he served as regional director for KemperSports, including a role in opening Chambers Bay in preparation for the U.S. Open. Previously, Luthman served as a regional director with American Golf. He is a graduate of Gonzaga University, where he earned a degree in History.
