Albatrozz, a fast-growing global hospitality software developer company that is making a name for itself in golf, has joined the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF).

Since its inception in 1999, the Kuala Lumpur-based organisation has expanded to develop and provide enterprise-class software solutions for the hospitality and leisure industries.

Last year, Albatrozz became an official partner of the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA). As well as implementing its GoGolf programme, Albatrozz is the provider for the National Handicapping System (NHS).

Albatrozz collaborates with our clients to provide the winning edge in business through technology leveraging with total integration as the catalyst for efficient and informed decision-making,” said Alex Yong, Chief Executive Officer at Albatrozz (pictured left with AGIF CEO Eric Lynge).

He added: “As an Associate Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation we aim to inspire innovation and bring positive changes to the golf industry, starting from the grass-roots level.”

Eric Lynge, the AGIF’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Albatrozz into the Federation. We applaud their initiatives with the Malaysian Golf Association, which are aimed at ensuring the elite sport is accessible to individuals from all walks of life in the country.”

Albatrozz has also developed golf-related software consisting of six main products: Club and Membership; Golf Management System; Tournament Management; Retail; Inventory System; and Handicapping Management.

The Handicapping Management module complies with all USGA guidelines, while its Golf Management System offers golf course owners and operators an easy-to-operate and administer tee-time software module to take more control of tee-time scheduling and maximise rounds.

Initiated three years ago, GoGolf brings together a collaboration of the MGA, its member clubs, strategic alliance partners, media and key industry partners.

The goal of the programme is to grow the golfing community at large, recruit non-NHS golfers, and realign existing and current NHS golfers.

In Stage One, the GoGolf membership has allowed golfers to access the GoGolf platform for NHS information and real-time golf bookings, along with a host of other benefits and features that complement and enhance the golfing experience.

“Eventually, the GoGolf programme will further extend its offerings to include e-Commerce online shopping, access to golf club facilities, loyalty rewards and incentives and many more benefits to GoGolf members,” said Yong.

In addition to Malaysia, Albatrozz systems solutions are now also installed in Dubai, Indonesia, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam.
