The new Grundfos pumping station for the King’s and Queen’s courses at Gleneagles Hotel can be switched on from a laptop PC at Ocmis Irrigation’s head office in Somerset, 550 miles away. “Computer controlled pumping stations and irrigation sprinklers are the future for precision irrigation,” said Nick Lawson, the Scottish area manager for Ocmis.
