Golf Industry News - Bernard Gallacher Defibrillator Campaign

Motocaddy has partnered with Today’s Golfer for the second year running to support its ‘Drive for Defibs’ campaign, following a successful first year that saw over 330 defibrillators registered across UK golf clubs.

Ten years after surviving a heart attack thanks to the quick response of a doctor and a defibrillator machine at an event he was attending in Aberdeen, three-time Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher says it is 'irresponsible' for golf clubs not to have on-site defibrillators.

Tributes have been paid to one of the architects of the modern day PGA training programme – Geoff Cotton – who has died at the age of 90
