Green shoots are appearing on the golf travel front with more and more countries easing both the local and travel restrictions and the signs are there that we are getting over the worst of the Covid pandemic.
The past two years, the Zest team has taken stock of the platform and used the available time to develop their Phase 2 roadmap sooner than anticipated. Following an equity partnership with one of German’s leading golf software development houses, Platzdasch Net Consult (PNC), Zest have been able to move the platform to the next level with increased functionality.
The core of the courses and channels are still engaged to start receiving and booking tee times via one simple interface which creates much needed efficiency in the market.
Jo Maes, Commercial Director Zest.Golf: “Since we’ve restarted our commercial activities from Jan 1st this year, we’ve seen increased interest from both golf courses and sales channels, all eager to move into the 21st century. We know there is a need for a solution that combines multiple destinations and software providers in one. The Zest solution gives both courses and sales channels a one-stop-shop for B2B tee time connectivity.”
The likes of Your Golf Travel, GolfTravelCentre, Leadingcourses and many more have confirmed their continued engagement and on top of that, further channels have expressed their desire to have online booking capability for tee times sooner rather than later.
This week alone, a number of major European golf tour operators have all confirmed their intentions to create leading online golf travel booking platforms using the Zest platform for their connectivity across multiple destinations.
Oliver Dury, CEO Zest.Golf: “We are extremely pleased that a number of renowned golf tour operators have now decided to build their online connectivity via the Zest golf channel manager. It confirms our message to both courses and sales channels that in the 21st century, efficient processes with online connectivity are key to profitability, efficiency and reach across different markets. Our neutral B2B tee time channel manager ticks all of those boxes.”
Zest.Golf will launch their V2.1 of their B2B channel booking engine for operators in Q1 2022 and with that comes a whole range of functionality improvements. The enhancements will make Zest.Golf the go to platform for operators to book tee times live and in real time.
Oliver Dury continues: “We have a lot of exciting functionality that we will make available to both courses and channels so they can keep on increasing efficiency and speed to market. We will also announce more partnerships and channels coming on board to use the Zest platform for their tee time bookings. The golf travel future is bright but will be driven by smart technology and Zest is very much leading the way.”
