Spectacular new images of The Carrick, the Doug Carrick-designed championship course at the iconic 5* Cameron House hotel, reveal what awaits visiting golfers looking to experience one of Scotland’s leading loch-side layouts.
The array of shots, captured by renowned golf photographer and influencer, Fabian Sixt, celebrate the breathtaking location of the par 71 heathland layout, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2022 and has previously staged several tournaments, including the 2007 and 2008 Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open, the PGA Cup and the PGA EuroPro Tour.
Jonny Sharp, Director of Golf at Cameron House, said: “With a backdrop of both the Scottish Highlands and Lowlands, as well as panoramic views across the world-renowned bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, our golf course gives visitors a truly unique and memorable experience and these latest images showcase our unique location perfectly.”
Fabian Sixt added: “The gently undulating landscape and beautiful surroundings make the course very unique and help to create a number of memorable and dramatic views from so many of the holes.
“The signature par 3 14th hole, with its elevated tee offering far-reaching views across Loch Lomond, is outstanding, but I was particularly taken with the par 4 13th hole, which requires a precise second shot struck towards the pine forests and highlands beyond.”
The Carrick forms part of an exquisite 400-acre development, which has recently undergone significant redevelopment, including a multi-million-pound restoration project of the historical Baronial mansion, which now offers a collection of 208 bedrooms, including 24 suites, and is enriched by an award-winning spa with rooftop infinity pool, a range of impressive restaurants and bars, elegant event & functions spaces, a new state-of-the-art Leisure Club and a 29-seat cinema.
In addition, Cameron House also offers a 234-berth marina and a choice of exhilarating and relaxing activities including jet skiing, loch cruises, sea plane trips, falconry experiences, pony treks, clay pigeon shooting, 4×4 off-road driving adventures, Segway safaris, bike hire and more.
