The award-winning SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort in Sotogrande, Spain, is kicking off the summer season with an exciting calendar of events, experiences and activities, including world-class gastronomy, art, leisure, and wellness.

Flavours of Andalusia
This summer, SO/ Sotogrande offers lovers of Andalusian gastronomy a unique culinary experience inspired by bluefin tuna. From June to September, guests can savour three exclusive menus at Cortijo Santa María 1962 restaurant. The Bistronomy experience begins with the ‘Tuna in Andalusia’ menu, followed by the ‘Classic Tuna’ menu available in July and August. Michelin Chef Nicolas Isnard will also create a dedicated avant-garde Tapas menu where bluefin tuna will take the centre.
Chef Leandro Caballero will conduct a master class, instructing participants on the secrets to creating the most sophisticated and flavourful bluefin tuna dishes.
Guests can indulge in diverse dining at four unique restaurants, including the fine dining Cortijio Santa Maria 1962 and the outdoor poolside MARXA Chiringuito, the beach grill adjacent to the hotel’s infinity pool, which will maintain its commitment to offering a fresh, local gastronomic menu inspired by Mediterranean cuisine.

Wellness and Relaxation
SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Wellness Club, boasting over 3,500 square meters of state-of-the-art facilities, including a hydrothermal circuit and cryotherapy, is set to introduce ‘Blissful Balance Sunday’. This innovative monthly programme aims to rejuvenate both body and mind with a one-hour yoga session, a two-hour Gong bath experience, and a healthy snack to conclude the day.
SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort offers four swimming pools, a 24-hour gym, and a comprehensive wellness and leisure centre. Children are also well catered for, with a daytime Kids Club for them to enjoy.

Music, Entertainment, and Andalusian Fashion
SO/ Sotogrande celebrates Southern culture this summer with a lineup of art and music events. An entertainment amphitheatre completes the vibrant atmosphere, hosting various performances and events, such as Afterworks by Alhambra and live music every Friday, while MARXA Vives sessions featuring live DJ and Latin music will run from Thursday to Saturday starting June 15. On June 21, World Music Day will light up the hotel amphitheatre with thousands of candles for a Candlelight edition performance of Coldplay. Tributes to Queen, ABBA, and Hans Zimmer will follow in July and August.
The resort will also host two editions of the ‘Cabalgando entre Costuras’ fashion show on July 20 and August 17, featuring Andalusian haute couture, purebred Spanish horses, and live classical music.

Craftsmanship, Design, and Colour
Throughout June, July, and August, renowned artists Sarah Schretzmair, Pedro Sandoval, and Gill Tracey will captivate audiences with a fusion of ancient and modern surreal and enigmatic art.
Demonstrating a commitment to both art and local craftsmanship, the hotel hosted a ‘Paint Your Botijo’ workshop with artist Marta Bernad in June, celebrating the Romeria del Rocio. Additionally, a ceramics workshop will be held on August 8, led by acclaimed Sevillian artist, Marta de Pablos.

“Sotogrande epitomises the richness and variety of Andalusian culture,” said Stephane Menou, General Manager of SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort. “This summer, we’re introducing new experiences in fashion, gastronomy, art, wellness, and sport, catering to even the most seasoned travellers.
