The Old Course Experience, which has an exclusive agreement with St Andrews Links to deliver premium packages and trade times on the Old Course, was recognised at the recent International Sports Event Management Awards at Twickenham.
Owned and operated by the UK’s leading hospitality provider Keith Prowse, the Old Course Experience received the bronze award in the Event Hospitality and Travel category for the outstanding customer focused approach of its St Andrews-based team. The Old Course Experience tailors trips for visitors from around the world offering exclusive guaranteed tee times on the Old Course, fine dining and cultural excursions.
The Old Course Experience welcomed more than 2000 guests from over 50 countries to the Home of Golf in 2010. Golfers as young as 8 and old as 81 have participated in the programme and past visitors include politicians, ambassadors, prime ministers and kings.
