The Portuguese resort of Onyria Quinta da Marinha Hotel is ready to offer UK guests its full choice of hospitality after the country’s inclusion on the UK government’s ‘green list’ for travel from May 17.
As part of the next phase of the easing of restrictions in England, travellers returning from a country on the green list will not need to quarantine and will only be required to take one post-arrival test. Portugal plans to welcome UK tourists who have had a recent negative test, have recovered from the virus and therefore have antibodies, or had both doses of a vaccine.
It makes Portugal even more appealing for UK guests and Quinta da Marinha – just under an hour’s drive from Lisbon in stunning Cascais – ticks many of the boxes for those eager to enjoy a memorable break this year.
Part of the ‘Great Hotels of the World’ portfolio, the 198-room hotel also underwent a fresh makeover last year – at a cost of an estimated €5m and is offering an all-inclusive package for the first time during July and August of this year, with prices starting from €140 per person in a double room.
