Pennant Park Golf Club and Holiday Park in North Wales has been sold to Wayfind Escapes for an undisclosed sum.

An 18-hole golf course occupies the majority of 111-acre site, while the holiday park has consent for 73 static caravans.

Also included in the sale of the family-owned business, which was handled by international real estate advisor Savills, is a two-storey clubhouse.

Pennant Park is situated in a stunning rural location, with areas of the course having views over the Dee Estuary to the Wirral Peninsula. The site also benefits from being close to the seaside resorts of North Wales with their sandy beaches attracting visitors from all over the UK.

Richard Prestwich, Director in the leisure and trade-related team at Savills, said: “We are delighted to complete the sale of this established golf course and holiday park. We are excited to see how Wayfind Escapes will further develop Pennant Park Golf Club and Holiday Park into a holiday resort to fulfil its potential, providing north Wales with an exciting new destination, we wish both parties all the best for the future.”
