A new range of signature apartments perfect for stay-and-play golf holidays has officially opened at Palmares Ocean Living & Golf as the Portuguese resort swings into the summer season.
The award-winning 27-hole venue, owned and operated by Kronos Homes, is offering an increased array of accommodation options for golfers looking to enjoy regular access to its fairways, with prices for a three-night, two-round break starting from €288 per person.
With three loops of nine holes, Palmares – dubbed the ‘jewel in the crown of the Algarve’ – is the ideal location for players looking for a trip abroad, with several of the new signature apartments being made available to golfers visiting the resort.
The 37 state-of-the-art properties feature a combination of one or two bedrooms, while several have additional office space which can be used as extra bedrooms for larger groups. Perfect for golf groups, all bedrooms in the apartments have two single beds, and there is free Wi-Fi in each apartment.
Golfing guests can take advantage of an array of new stay-and-play packages from this summer at the golf resort – which has been ranked as the third best in Portugal recently by the Top 100 Golf Courses website’s updated list of the ‘Top 60 Courses in Portugal’.
Packages range from three nights with two rounds of golf to a seven-night break with five days of unlimited golf. All golf packages include breakfast and prices start from around €288 per person.
Situated along the Atlantic coast, Palmares combines a selection of links-styled and parkland-styled holes with golfers treated to stunning views along the holes that run along the shoreline. Redesigned into three loops of nine by Robert Trent Jones Junior in 2008, its course has long been regarded as among Portugal’s best.
