New guide to East Anglia golf

Travel Publishing has published a new guide to golf courses in East Anglia. The book provides information on over 100 golf courses and detailed information on places to stay, eat and drink as well as places of interest close to each golf course. This is one of the first titles in a series that will eventually cover the entire British Isles. Golfers Guide to Wales and Golfers Guide to the West Country are due for publication early June

The Golfers Guide to East Anglia is a comprehensive guide to playing 18-hole golf in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and South Lincolnshire and at the same time offers the travelling golfer an introduction to the places of interest in this beautiful part of England. East Anglia is renowned for it varying countryside, an ideal setting for a relaxing game of golf.

David Hamilton has been a sports journalist for almost 40 years and a golf writer since 1978. He spent 18 years on the editorial staff of Golf Illustrated, now Golf Weekly, two years as its editor. During that time he covered all the major championships as well as the Ryder, Walker and Curtis Cups and contributed to a number of golf books. Currently he is press officer for the English Golf Union as well as permanent correspondent for the PGA European Challenge Tour.
