May 2014 will see the opening of the Monte Rei Golf Swing Studio, a private secluded space to enhance your golf game with the Monte Rei PGA Professionals. This indoor facility offers the best coaching technology, allowing for a truly interactive golf lesson where swings can be viewed immediately on the plasma screens enhanced by the latest V1 software. Pupils can hit out on to the driving range or within the studio into a net.

The facility will be available for lessons with Monte Rei’s dedicated professional staff or for visiting professionals to use with their own clients. Stay and Play packages are available at Monte Rei for golfers to experience both luxury accommodation and the world class Jack Nicklaus signature golf course and practice facilities.

David Shepherd, Director of Golf at Monte Rei said: “This is a very exciting development and one which I am sure our members, residents and visitors will enjoy using. This addition to the already outstanding practice facilities will make Monte Rei a leading resort for quality golf tuition.”

Monte Rei has gained recognition around the world as a premier golf and family destination and, since its opening 7 years ago, it has been ranked several years in a row as the number one golf course in Portugal.

Monte Rei continues to grow and the past few years have seen a number of developments at the resort with the introduction of fully serviced rental villas, along with the opening of Veranda, which includes a restaurant and bar, tennis courts, swimming pools, gymnasium and spa.
