Last few days for discounted Open tickets

12.10am 20th April 2009 - Travel

Championship Golf’s oldest Major is making its long-awaited return to Turnberry after a fifteen year absence.

Available at a discounted rate of £200 until the end of April is the Open Championship Season Ticket, ideal for those not wanting to miss a moment of the action over all eight days of play. A few Composite and Reserved Grandstand tickets also remain for those spectators who wish to enjoy unparalleled views of both world-class golf and one of The Open’s most iconic venues.

Padraig Harrington will attempt to become the first player to win three consecutive Open Championships since Peter Thomson in 1956 and vociferous Irish support will be at Turnberry to cheer him on.

Under-16’s will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. A day ticket for one of the four Championship days (16-19 July 2009) costs £55.
