La Manga guarantees quality golf

7.45am 15th November 2007 - Travel

Golfers travelling to La Manga Club this winter are guaranteed to enjoy first-class facilities. La Manga has become the first resort in Murcia to be awarded the National Association of Greenkeepers of Spain’s prestigious Q-Plus award.

The award – the only one of its kind in Spain – certifies that La Manga adheres to strict quality standards throughout its infrastructure as well as recognising the quality of the three championship golf courses.

Chris Davies, director of golf at La Manga Club, said, “We are honoured to have been presented with this award which recognises the year-round hard work and professionalism of our many green-keeping staff. We have maintained extremely high standards for well over 20 years now and that’s why our courses and this resort in general are renowned the world over.”

La Manga has built up a strong reputation with British holidaymakers partly through a close relationship with Barwell, the leading operator to the five-star resort which is offering some great deals this winter.
