IMG announced that Kytäjä Golf has joined IMG Prestige, making it the first property in Finland to become part of the global network of leading clubs and resorts.
Located a half-hour north of Helsinki, Kytäjä is known as the most exciting club in Finland, offering a unique golfing experience surrounded by a glorious lake and forest. Kytäjä features two award-winning golf courses, the South East and the North West. Both courses were designed by the renowned Canadian architect Thomas McBroom.
Within the property, Kytäjä offers seven luxurious villas with panoramic views to the lake, which are available to rent during the season. The villas are the perfect option for groups and families, as they can accommodate up to twelve people. Kytäjä also features a gourmet restaurant, serving food made with local ingredients ranging from the best traditional flavours to modern Nordic dishes.
Awarded Finland’s Best Golf Course at the 2019 World Golf Awards ceremony, Kytäjä has also been ranked Number 1 in Finland by Golf Digest in 2020 and also by the Top 100 Golf Courses in 2020. The club hosted the European Challenge Tour in in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
