To mark International Women’s Day (IWD), in March, Costa Navarino is launching a Ladies’ Week of golfing competition to celebrate the achievements of women.
The week will feature competitive golf, social events and a number of non-golfing activities, all designed with women in mind.
The package includes seven nights’ accommodation at The Westin Resort, Costa Navarino, and four different and fun tournament rounds on the multi-award-winning Dunes and Bay courses, from March 9-12: Texas scramble; individual strokeplay for professionals, and Stableford for amateurs; greensomes; and fourball better-ball.

IWD – which takes place worldwide on March 8 – is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, and also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
IWD has occurred for more than a century, with the first gathering, in 1911, supported by more than a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. Before this, the Socialist Party of America, United Kingdom’s Suffragists and Suffragettes, and further groups campaigned for women’s equality. IWD is not country, group or organisation specific, it belongs to all groups, collectively, everywhere.
