Golf Club Grado is marking the autumn season with two special offers for golfers looking for an authentic Italian getaway.

The packages offer outstanding value golfing holidays starting from October at the scenic north eastern Italian resort which sits on the Adriatic Sea and is renowned for its warm climate and all-year-round golf. Grado is just one and a half hour’s drive from Venice.

The Golf and Sapori, or ‘Flavours’, package caters for golfers who enjoy fine dining after their rounds. Guests can enjoy a two night stay at the Tenuta Primero Resort with a round of golf on Grado’s championship course and a gourmet dinner at the Al Casone restaurant which is renowned throughout the Friuli Venezia Giulia region for its authentic local cuisine. The package starts from €150 per person for a double room including breakfast.

For golfers looking for a chilled out golfing break the ‘Golf and Relax package’ will be the ideal reason to make the trip to Grado. The package comprises a two night stay at the Tenuta Primero Resort, two tee times on Grado’s championship course, with pull trolleys included. The package starts at € 150 per person for a double room.

Ivan Marzola, the President of Golf Club Grado, said, “We receive many visitors from northern Europe in the autumn as our climate is warmer and more attractive for golf at that time of year. The new packages are aimed at golfers who either want to play golf and relax while they are here or those who particularly enjoy sampling Italian fine dining. Each of the packages offers excellent opportunities to enjoy golf on the Adriatic coast at very competitive rates.”

Grado is celebrating a successful summer season which saw it host the Friuli Venezia Giulia Open on the Alps Tour for the first time in July. The challenging 6650 yard, par 72 Grado championship course sits on the beautiful Grado lagoon and its stunning par three first hole boasts an island green which has led to Grado being hailed as the ‘European Sawgrass’ by the golf media.
