Golfbreaks is teeing off 2023 in celebratory style with the company chalking up 25 years of providing over 3 million golfers with industry-leading service and world class golf travel.
Golfbreaks sends more than 230,000 golfers away each year to enjoy unforgettable golf experiences at over 2,000 resorts around the world.
Golfbreaks was founded in 1998 by Chief Executive Andrew Stanley, who wanted to provide golfers with access to expertly curated and organised golf breaks across the globe whilst helping them to save time and money.
Stanley commented: “This year is going to be an exciting one for all of us at Golfbreaks as we celebrate 25 years of being in business. The choice of venues on our website shows how far we have come over the years providing our customers with the best service, choice, and value for money. Our journey to becoming the world’s best golf tour operator could not be achieved without all the hard work and dedication from our current and former employees who have contributed to our success over the last quarter of a century.”
This year launches with Golfbreaks’ hugely successful Group Golf Giveaway campaign -rewarding clients with even more great offers, loyalty points and free places to take advantage of.
Chief Marketing Officer Justine Beach commented: “We are incredibly proud of this huge milestone and 2023 will see us continue to keep our customers at the forefront of everything we do whilst highlighting our impressive heritage and position as industry leaders in golf travel. We have a wide range of fantastic promotions and initiatives throughout the year, working alongside our long-standing business partners including Callaway, OGIO, Mastercard and GolfNow.”
Golfbreaks currently employs a team of 175 staff globally, with offices in the UK, Scandinavia and the US. The company enjoys high levels of satisfaction from its clients, with 99% of customers indicating they would rebook with Golfbreaks as per Reevoo and a 4.8 Excellent rating on Trustpilot.
Managing Director & Group CFO Steve Hemsworth commented: “After an extremely busy bounce back year in 2022 following the pandemic, we are firmly on course to exceed £100m group revenue for the first time this financial year ending April. This could not be achieved without our dedicated teams in the UK, Scandinavia, and the US, as well as our loyal customer base, our long-term hotel and golf suppliers, and our key commercial partners.”
