The Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa has for the second year running been awarded the coveted Meetings & Conventions (M&C) Gold Tee Award 2009 for their consistent excellence in serving the golf and meetings industry.
This award demonstrates exceptional qualities both in terms of facilities and service for corporate hospitality. The Old Course has exclusively been selected as one of a few properties worldwide who earned enough votes to win the Gold Tee Award in 2009 out-with the United States.

Debbie Taylor, Managing Director at the Old Course Hotel said, “The Old Course Hotel is a truly world class and unique destination in which to combine business with pleasure, we are really delighted to be recognised by our customers in this way.”

This highly-respected award is given annually to outstanding golf/meeting properties worldwide by M&C magazine. Winners of the Gold Tee Award were nominated and selected by the readers of M&C based on their overall excellence.

Bernard W. Schraer, Meetings & Conventions Group Publisher says, “The meeting industry’s most well-regarded critics, the readers of M&C, have made their selections for the best in the world. M&C’s core readership, of over 65,000 corporate, incentive and association meeting planners, know quality when they experience it and again have made their votes count, selecting the golf properties they believed to be outstanding.

“Our entire staff salutes the 85 properties worldwide that have distinguished themselves in this industry and earned the Gold Tee honour.”
