GOLFBOO.com representatives were on the road once again last week, spreading the word about the industry’s most complete one-stop shop for online golf holiday bookings to German golf fans at The BMW International Open.

Recognising Germany as one of the wold’s foremost golf travel markets – along with the UK, Scandinavia and The Netherlands – GOLFBOO.com took centre stage in the tented village at Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof. Throughout the week golf fans flocked to the stand eager to take part in the GameBOO Challenge and find out more about the unique golf travel booking service that GOLFBOO has bought to the market.

Following yet another busy week on the GOLFBOO.com stand in Cologne that saw a constant stream of consumers seeking to find out more about golf’s one-stop-shop for golf travel, the company’s Director, Fabio Peral, said: “As one of Europe’s most flourishing golf tourism markets, bringing news of our tremendous service and engaging with core golfers in Germany is integral to our growth strategy.

“The BMW International Open is always one of the best-attended tournaments on the European Tour schedule and this week was no different, with the likes of Henrik Stenson and new U.S. Open Champion, Martin Kaymer helping to draw in the crowds.

“The feedback and interaction we received from spectators about our unique service, as evidenced by the number of entrants we had in GameBOO, was extremely encouraging and further emphasises the importance a service like GOLFBOO.com has in a market where consumers demand the very best from their golf holidays.”

When a hotly contested five days of GameBOO action concluded on Sunday evening, German golfer Ulrike Jurgens stood head and shoulders about the rest with a time of 28.68 seconds to capture an all-inclusive golf holiday to Spain. The GOLFBOO.com roadshow now enters its final week at Le Golf National for the Alstom Open de France in Paris.

Delivering more power to the consumer, GOLFBOO.com is the only golf-specific service which simultaneously searches hundreds of travel websites for over 6,000 packages from more than 65 tour operators. Billed as golf’s equivalent to SkyScanner or Trivago, the clever system uses the consumer’s details to find tee times, the most suitable hotels and the best deals, making it easier than ever to secure the golf holiday of a lifetime.

Launched to prove just how easy the GOLFBOO.com booking system is, GameBOO invites golfers to simulate the process of creating a tee-time booking. Once logged-on to http://game.golfboo.com/en users are presented with the competition challenge: reserve two separate tee times for two people on two different days in 2014.

The person who achieves the quickest time for ‘reserving’ their tee times at GOLFBOO.com partner courses will win a fabulous weekend break for two on the Costa del Sol. This includes a two-night stay in Marbella, two rounds of golf, flights and airport transfers.

Golfers and non-golfers alike can try their hand at the GameBOO Challenge by visiting http://game.golfboo.com/en for their chance of winning a dream golfing holiday.
