Costa Navarino joins 59club’s Signature Collection

Luxury Greek golf resort receives accolade from leading benchmarking company

Costa Navarino in Greece has been selected for 59club’s prestigious new Signature Collection, alongside some of the world’s leading golf destinations.

Costa Navarino was one of just 25 worldwide golf venues to receive the accolade in recognition of its long-term commitment to service excellence, outstanding guest experiences and world-class golf facilities.

Launched this year, the Signature Collection has been created to recognise venues which deliver the highest standards of service across every customer touchpoint, reflecting the diversity of the global industry. Its first members were announced at 59club’s inaugural Global Service Excellence Awards.

Membership of the Signature Collection is the latest recognition by 59club – an impartial mystery shopping programme for golf, leisure and hospitality venues which evaluate real customer experiences against objective benchmarking criteria. In addition, the destination was the recipient of six top accolades at the 59club Europe Service Excellence Awards earlier this year, including the awards for Golf Manager of the Year, claimed by David Ashington and Golf Operations Team of the Year.

“Costa Navarino has an unwavering commitment to delivering customer satisfaction and the best experience possible to all our guests. 59club provides an invaluable service in helping us to evaluate how we are performing across our golf services and how we can improve, so be recognised among the leading golf destinations, gives us enormous pride,” said David Ashington.

Costa Navarino boasts four championship golf courses

Situated in the region of Messinia in Greece’s southwest Peloponnese, Costa Navarino is a sustainably driven destination and features four signature 18-hole courses – The Dunes Course, The Bay Course, the International Olympic Academy Golf Course and The Hills Course.

The destination combines an award-winning luxury hospitality and residential offering, with a strong focus on sustainable development, culture and authentic Messinian heritage. Guests have a choice of four five-star hotels. The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, is ideal for couples seeking a distinctive luxury holiday; The Westin Resort, Costa Navarino is the perfect choice for families and sports enthusiasts; while the adult-friendly W Costa Navarino is ideal for those seeking a chilled and relaxing holiday in a vibrant, chic beachfront setting. Furthermore, at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, guests can enjoy the ultra-luxury experience that the Asian brand is known for.

Away from the golf courses, Costa Navarino is serving up an array of sports and lifestyle experiences that golfers and families can enjoy throughout the year, while there are more than 40 dining venues, featuring a variety of cuisines, ranging from local Messinian specialties to fine dining, using the region’s finest and fresh produce. The nearby Navarino Agora features a curated selection of shops, gastronomy venues and an open-air cinema.
