Clubs to Hire Takes Five

9.47am 29th August 2023 - Travel

Following the recent announcement of their opening in Liverpool and Manchester, Clubs to Hire has announced the opening of five new locations throughout the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. The five new locations are London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast.

The UK golf travel business is enjoying great days with inbound tourism accounting for over £500m and over 350,000 travelling golfers visiting to play each year.

CEO Tony Judge said: “With golf club rental becoming the norm for travelling golfers and participation rates at an all-time high, we are very excited to be opening in these major cities which attract tens of thousands of golfers every year. We will be servicing these highly sought after locations with an enthusiastic team who will meet the clients on arrival or deliver the high end sets directly to them at their accommodation of choice”.

The five new locations give travelling golfers some fantastic options with new sets available from Callaway, PXG and TaylorMade.

Judge said “Since the end of Covid we have seen a very positive uplift in bookings in Europe and these new locations are exciting as they will be home to the Open Championship over the next 3 years. Clients will have the option to fly hassle free, have their sets delivered and then play Open venues such as Royal Troon, Royal Portrush and Birkdale. Sets can now be booked on the Company’s upgraded website for collection from March 1st, 2024.”

Launched in 2010, Clubs to Hire will celebrate its 13th year in business and the company has grown from strength to strength. It now handles more than 300,000 annual visits to its website and more than 40,000 bookings for rental clubs at 25 locations worldwide, including popular golfing regions in Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Ireland, UK, Dubai, South Africa and five countries across the Mediterranean.
