Clubs to Hire is upping investment in its stock of new clubs for the new season as golf travel begins to open up.
The Dublin-based company recently ran a survey to a group of its active users and the results showed that its clients are desperate to get a golf break abroad during 2022.
The Dublin-based company rents sets of golf clubs in 20 popular golfing regions around the globe and expects golf travel to rebound strongly this year.
Tony Judge, founder at Clubs to Hire, said: “We are encouraged by the data and felt it was time to reinvest in the sets for our clients. Our customers love to experience the latest equipment to market and we enjoy giving it to them.
“Having got through a difficult 2020/21 season we can see brighter days ahead. Golf is growing across Europe and over one million people have taken up golf during the pandemic.
“We have a strong relationship with the big golf manufacturers and we are pleased to be adding new stock from TaylorMade, Callaway and Srixon this year. This now brings the number of brands offered to nine giving our customers a great choice when playing abroad.
“At Clubs to Hire, we are removing the need for golfers to take their clubs abroad, giving them the chance to travel stress free and enjoying the latest sets to market. It’s the perfect place to try out the new equipment before maybe purchasing a set at home”.
Launched in 2010, Clubs to Hire has rented over 500,000 sets of clubs, and the company has managed to survive the recent pandemic. It normally handles more than 300,000 annual visits to its website and more than 50,000 bookings for rental clubs at 20 locations worldwide, including popular golfing regions in the USA, Thailand, Indonesia, South Africa and five countries across the Mediterranean.
Clubs are available for left or right-handed men or women and can either be waiting at the airport or delivered directly to the golfer’s hotel. Clients can also add shoe rental, balls, tees and hats to their order.
