Brocket Hall is offering visitors to its Palmerston Academy an even higher level of service after establishing a partnership with the renowned AimPoint green reading system used by a collection of the world’s top players.
Run by top teaching professional Jamie Donaldson, the AimPoint tuition programs, which focus on the science behind reading greens, have proven highly successful with amateurs, professionals and juniors and are now available to both members and visitors at the prestigious Hertfordshire venue.
Ladies world number one Stacy Lewis, Major winners Justin Rose and Padraig Harrington, and the victorious 2011 Solheim Cup squad are among the list of leading players to have used the highly-regarded system.
Donaldson said: “Brocket Hall is the perfect choice for me as the facilities are the best I have used in the UK. The greens are varied and have a pure surface which allows me to create just about any scenario to test the best players’ putting abilities.
“Once sessions have finished, pupils can enjoy Brocket Hall’s first class other facilities. With two great and challenging courses available, it really has got all bases covered.”
David Griffin, director of golf operations at Brocket Hall, said: “We are committed to making the Palmerston Academy one of the best places for golf tuition in the country. The introduction of AimPoint and Jamie Donaldson is a big step towards achieving this.
“Jamie is renowned among PGA and tour professionals and has helped some of the world’s best players. Having the ability to read a green properly is a part of the game that is often overlooked by amateurs and we are delighted to be able to offer this level of expertise to our members and visiting groups.”
