Antognolla Golf, located in Umbria has once again topped the list of Italy’s best golf courses, claiming the 2022 Award for ‘Italy’s Best Golf Course’. This marks a tremendous achievement after winning this award in 2020.

This award rounds off a very busy season for Antognolla Golf, which has had its best year to date with more domestic and international golfers looking to experience the golf course than ever before.

At the same time Antognolla Golf has also been featured within the UK magazine ‘Todays Golfer’ Top100 rankings as one of Italy’s greatest resorts as well as launching growth initiatives such as our ongoing sustainability drive with the Golf Environment Organisation.

Accepting the award on behalf of the owners and entire team, Antognolla’s Golf Director César Burguière, said: “Everyone connected with Antognolla Golf is absolutely thrilled to once again be voted as ‘Italy’s Best Golf Course’ for 2022.

With this award, Antognolla Golf now forms part of an exclusive community of the finest organisations in golf tourism. The award is voted for by golf travel professionals, the world’s best media, and crucially the golfing consumer with the honour recognising our commitment to excellence. We would simply like to acknowledge and thank everyone who voted for us and we look forward to welcoming more guests and players to Antognolla Golf in the future.”

He added: “Italy has many fantastic golf courses and we can truly say we are now amongst the very finest in Italy and Europe. Lastly, with the Ryder Cup now in 2023, we hope to see Italy at the forefront of European Golf.
