A new concept in group travel

12.10am 29th October 2004 - Travel

Golf Groups Direct is a newly launched arm of specialists Serenity Golf. Their new brochure is the only one in the market dedicated entirely to golf group travel and will be out shortly. It is aimed specifically at parties of 8 or more.
It may be a new venture but the staff are highly experienced. Sean Noble, Serenity Golf’s product manager and formerly senior product manager at Longshot, says, “We have negotiated fantastic rates with airlines, hotels, car hire suppliers and golf courses on the basis of booking large groups. We are passing these savings on to our clients ensuring excellent value for money. Not only that but the earlier a booking is made, the greater the saving.”
Ian Mcleod has also joined Serenity Golf from Longshot, where he was golf groups manager.  “I have years of experience in booking group holidays,” he says “and have developed GGD to specifically cater for their requirements and to offer additional support to group leaders. We appreciate that value is one of the main considerations and GGD will certainly fit the bill, however, we are going one step further by assisting at every stage.”
As an added bonus group leaders confirming a booking before the end of April 2005 will be entered into a draw to win a place in the Golf Groups Direct Overseas Tournament which will be held in Portugal next November. There are 12 places to be won and flights, accommodation at the 5* Vila Sol Spa & Golf Resort and golf will be included.
The new Golf Groups Direct brochure will be out shortly, for more information and to reserve your copy telephone 0845 330 2072 or visit www.golfgroups.co.uk
