England retained the Raymond Trophy when they completed a clean sweep in the Home Internationals at Ashburnham in Wales. After a comprehensive 11-4 win over Ireland, England had to pull out all the stops to edge past Scotland 8-7 before they repeated the 11-4 scoreline on the final day against the Welsh.
