Puma Golf was among the first golf brands to congratulate Gary Woodland on winning his first major championship at the US Open at Pebble Beach.
The 35-year-old from Kansas, who fired four rounds in the 60s to capture the third major of the season with a 13-under-par total, signed a multi-year footwear and clothing contract with Puma less than six months ago, and he wasted no time in repaying the brand’s faith with his stunning performance on the California coast.
Throughout the week, Woodland wore pieces from Puma’s Volition America Golf Collection, a patriotic ensemble of products first launched in 2017, which honour those who have died serving the USA’s armed forces.
The Volition America Golf Collection combines Puma Golf’s cutting-edge apparel and footwear technologies and styles with Volition America’s focus on patriotism and all things red, white and blue.
Woodland also sported a pair of Puma’s Ignite PWRADAPT golf shoes, which boasted an eye-catching stars-and-stripes design.
