Staysure Tour cancels further events

The Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship, due to take place at Trevose Golf Club on June 19-21, has been cancelled following discussions with the tournament promoter and stakeholders.

The Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship, due to take place at Trevose Golf Club in Cornwall on June 19-21, is the latest Staysure Tour event to be cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Following discussions with the tournament promoter and stakeholders, the event is planned to return to the Staysure Tour schedule at the same venue on June 17-20, 2021, with Farmfoods remaining as headline sponsor and Ian Woosnam hosting.

The Swiss Seniors Open, due to be played at Bad Ragaz Golf Club on July 3-5, has been cancelled following new guidelines from the Swiss Government that see events with more than 1000 people restricted until the end of August. The event will also return in 2021.

Other confirmed Staysure Tour events cancelled for 2020 include this month’s Senior Italian Open (May 29-31), the Arras Open Senior Hauts de France (June 11-13), The Senior Open Championship at Sunningdale (July 23-26).
