Wilson Staff, the brand of irons associated with more Major victories than any other golf supplier, has announced the signing of accomplished golfer, fitness guru and model Sophie Horn – the girl recently voted the world’s ‘sexiest golfer’.

Sophie, who was ranked as the third sexiest female athlete in the world by the American sports website Bleacher last year, will play with the new Wilson Staff DXi Superlight driver and DXi rescue clubs at various events this year, as well as the classic FG62 bladed irons and FG Tour balls she has used in recent times.

Playing off a 4-handicap, the three-time Norfolk County Champion is set to take time out from her role as golf expert at GQ Magazine to promote the brand at overseas events like the forthcoming PGA Show in Orlando and domestic dates such as Golf Live at the London Golf Club in May.

“Wilson Staff is kindly supporting me during the year ahead and, despite interest from other top brands, I was always committed to the Wilson brand because I love the products so much,” said Horn, who also presents a golf-related exercise programme as part of the global television show ‘Golfing World’.

The 25-year old will attend the PGA Show in Orlando at the end of January, where she’ll demo new clubs such as the Wilson Staff Ci11 and FG Tour V2 irons. “I’m looking forward to showcasing the new clubs at some pretty large events this year,” she added. “The Wilson Staff 2012 range is simply stunning.”
