The QHotels Collection has formed a new partnership with Underpin Sports, a mental performance and player development company that is supporting the next generation of golfing talent.

This collaboration solidifies The QHotels Collection’s position as one of Underpin’s valued ‘Eagle’ partners and reflects its commitment to fostering the growth and development of the game.

Keith Pickard, Golf, Health Club & Spa Director at The QHotels Collection, commented: “We are thrilled to join forces with Underpin and The 72-Club. Their approach to coaching and player development is exceptional and aligns perfectly with our mission to promote and grow the game of golf, with a keen focus on enhancing opportunities for all players.”

As an Eagle member, The QHotels Collection will contribute significantly to the overall efforts of Underpin by supporting the development of their player development programmes. These initiatives are designed to enhance mental performance, focusing on mental resilience, emotional management, and overall player well-being.

Greg Robertson, founder and Director of Coaching at Underpin, said: “This partnership with The QHotels Collection not only enables us to expand our reach and impact, but also furthers our mission of unlocking higher performance among golfers at all levels.

“By joining Underpin’s existing network of corporate members within the Underpin 72 Club, The QHotels Collection will gain access to bespoke golf and business events, alongside valuable commercial networking opportunities.

“Together, this collaboration supports the funding of mental performance coaching provided by Underpin to its portfolio of elite amateur players, helping them achieve their full potential and excel at the very highest level of the professional game.”

Looking ahead, The QHotels Collection and Underpin anticipate this partnership will continue to help set a new standard in coaching and player support, aiming to produce measurable improvements in player performance and mental health within the next five years.
