The presentation took place at Seaton Carew Golf Club, in County Durham, on the practice day for the Brabazon Trophy, the English men’s open stroke play championship, which gets underway tomorrow.
Another fleet will be presented to the England Golf women’s Performance Squad at the English women’s amateur championship at St Enodoc in July.
PowaKaddy are the official trolley supplier to England Golf and marketing manager Mei Tierney commented: “Our aim is to ensure that the best equipment is placed at the fingertips of the country’s elite amateurs and give them every chance to succeed.
“Technology is a key part in the game at the highest level and I believe our top-of-the-range FW7 model will help the players to keep one step ahead of the competition.”
Nigel Edwards, the England Golf Performance Director, remarked: “It’s vitally important that players conserve as much energy as possible during their rounds and these trolleys will help them do that.
