Freddy Schott, winner on the Challenge Tour during his rookie season in 2022, has signed an equipment contract with PING, the company announced today. Schott began his Challenge Tour without full status but has successfully left after one season with a full DP World Tour card in his hand.

The 21-year-old native of Dusseldorf, Germany, began his professional career on the Sunshine Tour in 2021 with six top-ten results to his name, and quickly transitioned into the Challenge Tour the year after. His maiden win came at the Frederikshavn Challenge, presented by Hessel, as he cruised to victory with a three-shot lead, after starting the tournament with a seven-under-par 65.

After a top-10 finish in the Road to Mallorca Rankings, Schott has earned his full DP World Tour card and has already made his debut on this year’s schedule.

Schott plays a G430 LST 9 degree driver, G430 MAX 5W, 2 iCrossover, i59 irons, Glide Forged Pro Wedges and a Vault 2.0 Ketsch.

Terms of the agreement were not released.
